Defiance Sports, Inc was created in 2011, but the idea for it was born way before that. After nearly 20 years of frustration with the ski industry, we've decided to take things into our own hands.

It's no secret that skiing is an expensive sport. The most unfortunate side effect of this is that it is too often reserved for the elite few who can afford the equipment. In our opinions, this isn't right. Every true skier could go on for days about what the mountains mean to them and how much fun they have when they're out on the slopes.

We believe that it's wrong to allow the financial burden of the sport to keep people from experiencing one of the greatest winter activities. So after dealing with a super expensive industry for years, we've decided to step up and create a company that manufactures high quality equipment, that is accessible to everyone.

In the brand's introductory year, we've created a concise line of skis that we believe has the capability of providing a quality ski to 90% of skiers. As this is our first year, we haven't spent the time and money developing a wide range of skis that are specific to certain situations. Instead, we allocated are resources to developing three of the best skis we could, and meeting a price point that's affordable to nearly everyone.

We promise you, that unlike some value ski brands, we make sure not to compromise quality in order to lower our prices. Creativity, reliability and passion for winter sports are at the heart of everything that we do and it is reflected in our gear. I think you've heard enough cliches and platitudes for now though, let's go skiing already!
